Event Photos The Creators Project, BeijingThe Creators Project, a global celebration of creativity and innovation, made its final stop in Beijing this past weekend after traveling the world. The event was held in the 798 Art District – the heart of the Beijing’s growing art and culture center. The Creators Project, a partnership by Vice and Intel, is a groundbreaking cultural initiative bringing together leading artists in music, art, film, and design, showcasing how they use technology to push creative boundaries.
The Creators Project website had already generated significant interest in China with more than 21 million video views from Chinese Internet users. The online videos, which were produced for the project, features musicians, designers and artists who use technology in creating their work.
The Beijing event featured live performances, panels, film screenings and multi-disciplinary art installations. Performers include Major Lazer, Delorean, New Pants, Sulumi, Queen Sea Big Shark, Ada, Dead J and White+. Films include “I’m Here” by Spike Jonze, “ODDSAC” by Danny Perez, “Room with a Cat” by Peng Lei, “4 Films” by Ray Lei, “3 Films” by Sun Haipeng and “Making Contakt” by Richie Hawtin. Art installations by Li Hui, Kingsley NG, Nick Zinner, Muti Randolph, United Visual Artists, Radical Friend, Teddy Lo, Xu Feng and Aaajiao. And panels by Diplo, Delorean, Sulumi and Vega Wang.
