My favorite thing to do in New York City is hop on my bike and just ride through the city. It’s amazingly liberating to not be enclosed in a crowded subway or in a cab with a crazy driver on a mission to maim you. When you bike, you’re in the open and connected to the city. The whole experience can be made that much better if you had a Giant Metro Suede bike like this:

This is the sickest city cruiser you’ll ever own. With a virtually maintenance-free 3-speed automatic drivetrain by Shimano and a saddle with memory foam, you’ll be traveling in serious comfort and style.
So how do you get your hands on this baby? You can either fork up the $800 or you can enter our “Give Theme a Bike Tour of Your City” contest. It’s pretty easy and it’ll be tons of fun.

When’s the deadline for this?
Hi Jimmy, were giving everyone until the end of August, but it’s always better if you can get it to us earlier. That way we don’t have a mad rush at the end.
Thanks, and hi to you too.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhh i want this bike....
Great bike and great contest. But i’m just so happy Jiae has decided to blog! Yesssssssssssssssssssss!
Are we supposed to pretend we are hitting up all these spots via bike or just in general? The submission guidelines made no mention of a bike tour.
Yup, imagine as if you’re taking to someone on the phone who has no idea what it’s like to ride around on a bike where you live.
Hey guys, remember to submit your entries before the end of the month!!! We’ll post pics of the bike when we get it put together soon.
Is this for USA only?
The contest is open to anyone - anywhere in the world, but we can only ship the bike to a US address. The bike is pretty complicated to put together so we need to send it to an authorized Giant dealer to set up.
Is the woman’s version an option, or do you only have the men’s available?
The only difference between the bikes is the color and the dropped top tube on the women’s version, everything else is pretty much the same. That said, if the winner would prefer the women’s version, I’m sure we can accommodate. Remember to send in your entries SOON!
