Tim Burton fans will be thrilled to hear the MoMA is running a major retrospective on the man come November. Films, paintings, and drawings, many of them never before exposed to the public, will be on display as part of the 700-piece exhibition, simply titled “Tim Burton.”
“It is very surreal, very surprising,” said Burton, on being chosen for a MoMA exhibit. “This is a real re-energizing thing for me.”
Also on display will be puppets, costumes, sculptures, cartoons, and even childhood drawings of Burton’s. All 14 of his feature films will be screened, as well as his shorts and student films.
The exhibit starts November 22nd. Click here for more info.
