Stills in Heart

Gorgeous stills from the movies of legendary American independent film director Hal Hartley are now available from indie Swedish publisher Libraryman in The Heart is a Muscle.  Select shots from his 1989 classic The Unbelievable Truth to upcoming full-length feature Meanwhile will be included in the book. For those who will be in Sweden, bookshop Bokhandeln Konst-ig will host a special evening with Hal Hartley that will include a Q & A about Hartley’s career, a book signing, and a screening of The Unbelievable Truth. Those of us who can’t make it can get a copy of the book online from Collette here. Oh, and do it fast: there are only 300 copies of the book available.
