With the Polar Ice Caps melting faster than estimated, the WWF has put up a really clever installation on the steps of a Berlin square that anthropomorphizes ice block sculptures. The ice carved out to look like simple humans melted away in the hot summer sun in a statement speaking to the frailty of nature and the human impact thereof. Great stuff.

Poor little guys.
reminds me of sperm…
the WWF are a bunch of nut bags.
Justin is an ignorant idiot.
I cannot speak to whether Justin is an idiot or not. Still the WWF are bunch of misanthropic quacks.
That is a waste of water.
Oh really, waste of water huh? Well how much water do you use when you take a shower or bath huh? I’m sure most of that is a waste too…
it’s not a waste if its for art. you’d be pissed if you knew the footprint of most art supplies. but the bottom line is “is it worth it for artistic expression?”, and the answer is yes.
Justin, you ignorant slut…
I’m meeeelting!!! meeeelting!!!!!
I can’t believe I’m the first one to think of that...lol
Cool idea, hope it helps
p.s. I have no opinion of the WWF or Justin ;0)
i can fly like a bird in the sky
Incredibly incredibly creative. I wish my brain worked in such ways.
art is the lapdog of the bourgeoisie
WWF SMACKDOWN! (on environmental ignorance)
don’t blame just us for global warming the dinosaurs where farting and craping tons of methane for around 160million years we on the other hand have been polluting for about 150 years tops then there are all the cattle,do you know how much methane 1 cow emits a year ...more than me
Fladnag, I wouldn’t be too sure about that. Any of it.
Interesting, but almost ironic.
I will have to concur, the WWF are a bunch of nutjobs!!! Justin,I ‘m not sure about.
Just an aside for the journalist, but these are molded pieces...not ice “sculptures”. You can tell by the white center and clear edges...just like most ice cubes…
...in the ice sculpting business for 26 years...just an observation.
